(KSL News) -- Weber County Prosecutors today filed charges in a shooting death originally ruled a suicide.

John Thomas Rush was found inside an Ogden home six years ago, dead of a single gunshot wound to the head. An initial autopsy ruled the death a suicide, but now new information in the case points to a possible murder suspect, Merlynn David Kilfoyle.

Prosecutors say they have evidence Kilfoyle was fighting with Rush on the night of his death. Kilfoyle is now being held in the Weber County jail without bail.
