(KSL News) A suspect is in jail following a late-night fight.
Police say two groups of men got into a verbal argument which quickly escalated into a fist fight.
It happened near 600 South and 800 West. They say Carlos Ortiz grabbed a beer bottle and hit another man over the head. Everyone involved in the fight fled the scene but the victim later returned to talk to police.
Ortiz was arrested on charges of aggravated assault.
