SALT LAKE CITY — At least one person is dead after a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle in the Salt Lake City area Sunday evening.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m. near the northbound I-15 ramp to westbound state Route 201, according to Utah Public Safety officials. Authorities are investigating what caused the fatal crash.
The northbound I-15 ramp to westbound SR-201 and collector were closed during the investigation and cleanup. Drivers should avoid the area and take alternate routes.
The victim of the accident has not yet been identified, pending family notification.
