WEST JORDAN — In what police suspect may be either a drug-related or gang-related incident, a man in his 30s was shot in the leg and found outside an apartment complex Sunday morning.
West Jordan Police Lt. Richard Bell said the victim was taken to Intermountain Medical Center and is expected to recover.
Witnesses reported seeing two assailants in separate cars — a white Honda Civic and a maroon sedan — flee the scene after the 9:52 a.m. shooting at the Parkman apartment complex at 1300 West and 7000 South.
Details are still being sorted out, Bell said.
