FAIRFIELD, Utah County — A rollover crash near the border of Tooele and Utah counties left two men in critical condition Tuesday.
Shortly before 5 p.m., a truck with two men inside rolled on a dirt road in the Five Mile Pass area, just off state Route 73 west of Fairfield, said Tooele County Sheriff's Lt. Travis Scharmann.
The men were airlifted to a Salt Lake-area hospital, both in critical condition, Scharmann said. He said they are both expected to survive their injuries.
The crash occurred at least partly because the truck's "speed was too fast (for) a dirt road," according to the lieutenant.
