Salt Lake City police have a lot of questions after a man returned home with stab wounds last night. It could have started when the man's golf clubs were stolen in the area of 700 West and 300 North.
After they were stolen, police say the victim saw the suspect trying to sell them on the street. He confronted the teen and got them back.
Then later in the day, the victim's girlfriend told police they heard the sound of glass breaking and realized someone had smashed out a window in their car.
Lara Jones, spokeswoman for the Salt Lake City Police Department, said, "The male victim assumed it was the same Hispanic juvenile from earlier in the day, went to find this teen, came back and had multiple stab wounds."
Salt Lake City police have identified the suspect. He is a juvenile, so no name has been released, and he is not in custody.
