An Airbus jetliner crashes into the wetlands northwest of Salt Lake City International: That's the scenario emergency responders tested this afternoon. It sounded and looked very real, but it was just a drill.
Emergency crews exercised their capacity to handle a major air disaster. They tested response, logistics and emergency care for injured survivors.
Today's exercise will help them prepare for a real disaster.
