(KSL News) A woman arrested in Richfield for an armed robbery at a Wal-Mart pharmacy admits to numerous other robberies.
On Monday, Sept. 8 a woman robbed the Wal-Mart pharmacy taking the drug Oxycontin. The woman and her vehicle were captured on surveillance video.
The Richfield police received information that Tanelle Buterbaugh, 26, may be a suspect. Using her driver's license information police confirmed she matched the suspect description.
Friday, Sept. 12 Buterbaugh was found in Salina and taken into custody.
During questioning Buterbaugh, of South Ogden, admitted to two counts of prescription fraud and the armed robbery at the Richfield Wal-Mart.
She also admitted to other armed robberies in Ogden, Gunnison, Evanston, Wyo. and Layton.
She was booked into the Sevier County Jail on charges related to the Richfield robbery, with other charges pending with the other agencies.
