HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — Aurimas Majauskas and Dakarai Henderson combined for 36 points as Sam Houston State drubbed Randall 119-81 on Monday night.
Majauskas drilled a trey for his 18th point of the game, to total 1,001 for his career to become the 24th SHSU player to break the 1,000 point barrier in a career.
Henderson also finished with 18, making 4 of 10 from beyond the arc. Phillip Jones Jr. and Albert Almanza added 13 points apiece as the Bearkats (9-3) had six players hit double figures.
SHSU has won five consecutive games and six of its last seven.
The Bearkats shot 41 of 72 (56.9 from the field while holding Randall to 25-of-65 shooting.
Sam Houston State jumped out to a 27-14 lead midway through the first half and sprinted to a 61-46 lead at halftime. The Bearkats won the second half 58-35.
Trey Sneed led Randall with 28 points.
