UNDATED (AP) — The Supreme Court has rejected the final two challenges to the NFL's estimated $1 billion concussion settlement with thousands of its former players. Players who already have been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's or dementia could begin receiving payments in 90 to 120 days.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The NFL has suspended San Diego nose tackle Tenny Palepoi (PAL'-eh-poy) for the team's next four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. The Chargers are likely to miss the playoffs for the sixth time in seven seasons, so Palepoi's suspension will carry over to the season opener next year.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona wide receiver Michael Floyd was arrested early this morning on charges of driving under the influence and failure to obey a police officer. Floyd was found unconscious behind the wheel of his running vehicle at a Scottsdale intersection. He was booked and released from jail.

UNDATED (AP) — A person with knowledge of the deal has told The Associated Press the Dodgers have agreed to an $80 million, five-year contract to keep All-Star closer Kenley Jansen. The 29-year old, right-hander had a career-best 47 saves last season to go along with a 1.83 ERA and 104 strikeouts over 71 appearances.

BOSTON (AP) —Ethiopia's Buzunesh Deba has been declared the winner of the deadly 2013 Boston Marathon after Kenya's Rita Jeptoo was stripped of the title for doping. Deba was also declared the current course record holder after her time of 2 hours, 19 minutes, 59 seconds. The 29-year old was the winner of the 2014 race.
