CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was .20 cent higher $3.9720 a bushel; December corn was up .20 cent at $3.3860 bushel; December oats was 3.20 cents higher at $2.3660 a bushel while January soybeans lost 3.60 cents to $9.82 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .45 cent higher at $1.0865 a pound; November feeder cattle was up .03 cent at $1.2700 pound; December lean hogs lost .53 cent to $.4750 a pound.
