(KSL News) Challengers to Utah government offices have an uphill battle when it comes to cash.

For example, Gov. Jon Huntsman has raised nearly $450,000 this year, according to campaign filings. His opponent, Bob Springmeyer, lags behind with just over $45,000.

Attorney General Mark Shurtleff has raised more than $346,000, receiving more from corporate donors than his opponent Jean Welch Hill has raised all summer.
