OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea (AP) — The United States has engaged in some saber-rattling directed at North Korea. The U.S. sent two supersonic bombers streaking over ally South Korea in a show of force. It comes after the North's recent nuclear test. The B-1B bombers were seen by an Associated Press photographer. Such flyovers are common when tensions rise on the Korean Peninsula.
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) — Hillary Clinton says she's feeling better since falling ill at a 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York. She told CNN's Anderson Cooper that she never lost consciousness and didn't think her pneumonia diagnosis was significant enough to disclose beforehand. Clinton also told supporters via text message and Facebook that she's "feeling fine" and "getting better."
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Donald Trump's rally in North Carolina Monday was interrupted several times by demonstrators. A Trump supporter lashed out at the protesters in the hall by appearing to punch a man and slap at a woman while they were being led out by security. The celebrity businessman talked through the scuffle but cracked after the disturbance, "Is there any place more fun than a Trump rally?"
ATLANTA (AP) — A Georgia man will spend the next 10 years in prison for using Craigslist to arrange sexual encounters with at least two different women without revealing he was HIV-positive. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports 24-year-old James Allen Propes was found guilty of two counts of reckless conduct by an HIV-infected person. Propes was charged in previous incidents in Oregon and Indiana.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ryan Lochte says he feels "a little hurt" after being involved in an altercation on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" that prompted producers to cut to commercials. The beleaguered Olympic swimmer was reportedly rushed by an unknown pair of men wearing anti-Lochte T-shirts while receiving his scores on Monday's live installment of the celebrity ballroom dance competition.
