A memorial service was held tonight for the victims of a plane crash in Guatemala. The service was held in West Jordan at the offices of CHOICE Humanitarian, the company the people were volunteering for when their plane went down in Guatemala.

One of those killed was Liz Valentiner Johnson. Her brother Tim doesn't want her death or those of the others to be in vain. "The best thing that we feel to honor her memory, to honor the memory of those that died in this tragedy, is to continue the work that they started," he said.

In all, 11 people died in the crash and three survived, including Bountiful businessman Dan Liljenquist. The volunteers were going to help build a school in a rural part of Guatemala.
