SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A new committee is forming to monitor the state's air quality.
The Wasatch Front Regional Council approved the new monitoring committee, which will advise the council on air-quality issues that are becoming more complex as standards become tougher.
The new committee will include elected public officials, air-quality advocacy groups, interested public and policy-level people at the Division of Air Quality.
