When I arrived at the Pepsi Center, it was like Fort Knox. The security was startling. I knew from the Olympics what tight security looked like but this is 10X what we saw at the Olympics.
The set up was fun. Rows of radio stations and news media every where. I saw: George Stephanopoulos, Cokie Roberts, Joe Scarborough and some guy I've seen on The Daily Show but I can't remember his name (not John Stewart).
The street buses stopped running because of the many protests. Some of the situations were getting a little scary. One pro-life protest was getting a bit ugly so we moved along.
I am looking forward to Michelle Obama's speech tonight! My thoughts on that will come later tonight.
