(KSL News) A young family involved in a fiery crash near Corinne spoke with us tonight.
The video of the chase shows a bullet bike rider speeding past a sheriff's deputy on State Road 13. Troopers had a hard time keeping up with the bike. Soon after, the bullet bike crashed under a green Ford Expedition, which burst into flames.
In the video, you can see a woman running to the vehicle to get her child. She carries it to safety and then goes back for the second child. That woman was Jenny Hill.
"So I got out of the car and looked under it and saw that it was on fire, and I knew I had to get my kids out, so I just hurried and got my kids out," Jenny said.
Her husband, Jeremy, is glad his wife acted so quickly, because he was a nervous mess. "If it wasn't for her having the, just thinking about the kids, I don't know what would've happened, because I just, I mean, I couldn't walk," he said.
Twenty-seven-year-old Daniel Savino was on the bullet bike. The Hills say they're not angry with him and are glad he didn't die.
