NORWICH, Conn. (AP) — A dog has attacked and injured three people including a 6-year-old in Connecticut.
Police say a roaming pit bull attacked the people Thursday afternoon in Norwich, about 40 miles southeast of the state capital of Hartford.
Police say all of the victims had bite wounds, and one had a severe injury to their ear. The victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.
An animal control officer later found the dog at its owner's house. It will be quarantined. Police say the owner was cited for several violations.
