(KSL News) -- The Utah State Board of Education is expected to give the ok to a proposal that will increase high school graduation requirements.
The changes include more requirements in English, science and math.
Some parents worry the added classes will limit elective classes like art and music. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints plans to offer more seminary classes outside of school hours, to make room for the extra core requirements.
