WEST VALLEY CITY — Colorado rallied from a 2-0 deficit in a potentially series deciding game 5 to take a 5-2 win Sunday over the Utah Grizzlies at the Maverik Center.
Utah went up 2-0 with 7:25 left in the second period when Matt Berry filed one away in the potential series-clinching game 5.
But the Eagles came roaring back, scoring three-straight goals in the final 2:34 of the second period to take a 3-2 lead at the second intermission before piling on late.
The series returns to Loveland, Colorado, for game 6 Tuesday at 7 p.m. If Colorado wins, a game 7 will be played Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Colorado as well.
