NEW YORK (AP) — Lightning Lilly beat Quibbler by 4 1/2 lengths Thursday in the $62,000 allowance feature for New York bred fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
The 4-year-old trained by Gregg Matties and ridden by Taylor Rice got her third win in nine starts.
The time was 1:37.42 for the mile. Lightning Lilly paid $12, $6.30 and $3.90.
Quibbler returned $4.40 and $2.50, and Taken by Surprise paid $2.40 to show.
