SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City's Cathedral of the Madeleine needs your vote tonight to win a national competition.
The Cathedral is in the “National Churchpionship of Church Madness” against Chicago's St. John Cantius. The cathedral has already knocked out three other houses of worship to get the final round. The poll is hosted by artandliturgy.com.
At 5:30 p.m. Friday, Chicago was ahead 53-percent to Salt Lake's 47-percent.
The last time Utah and Chicago were matched up in this magnitude was the 1998 NBA Finals. Fortunately for Utah, St. John's Cantius does not have Michael Jordan.
