(KSL News) South Salt Lake fire crews made a tricky rescue today. They freed a man trapped on his roof after his chimney collapsed on him.
The man and a friend were trying to put in a new air-conditioning unit. They used the chimney as an anchor to pull the unit up with ropes, but the chimney gave way.
The man was taken to the hospital with injuries to his legs and hips.
