CLEARFIELD, Utah (AP) — Two women suffered minor injuries after a car plowed into a Utah hair salon.
Clearfield police say the crash happened around 3 p.m. Friday outside Mild to Wild Hair Design Salon.
According to investigators, a woman was parked in front of the salon but didn't have the car in the park gear.
She then hit the gas pedal by mistake, sending her SUV careening through the salon's glass front windows.
Lt. Kelly Bennett says the entire car ended up inside the salon.
A patron and an employee were hurt but their injuries weren't serious.
Bennett says the 38-year-old driver did not appear to be impaired.
The crash remains under investigation.
Clearfield is about 29 miles north of Salt Lake City.
