SALT LAKE CITY — Gordon Hayward, star wingman for the Utah Jazz, is featured in the latest Lean In campaign for empowering women.

Now in its second season, the #LeanInTogether operation is designed to show men how they can help support the women in their lives in achieving their goals. The social media campaign has reached 480 million people, according to the organization. LeanIn.org partners with the NBA, the WNBA, and the National Basketball Players Association to spread the message.

Here's this year's PSA, featuring Hayward, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh, and San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon:

"Men have an important role to play in reaching equality, and everyone benefits when they do," says the campaign's website, LeanIn.org. "Children with involved fathers are happier, healthier, and more successful. Couples who share responsibilities have stronger marriages. Diverse teams and companies produce better results."

Hayward was chosen as an example of the Lean In campaign's goals being applied. He has a twin sister, loving wife Robyn, a baby girl named Bernadette, and another baby girl on the way, so he's no stranger to women of all ages playing a big role in his life.

The campaign shows Hayward's parenting skills in action, and features him explaining why it's so important that he supports the women in his life.

"I want the best for my daughter because I love her,” said Hayward. “Spending time with her now will help her succeed in the future by giving her the confidence that no matter what issue she faces, I will be there for her."

"She can always count on me."
