OGDEN — Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with the hit-and-run of an officer's adult son.

Preston Fielding, 27, was hit by a vehicle while crossing Washington Boulevard just after midnight. The motorist had just turned out of a Maverik parking lot, 2810 Washington Blvd, and drove off after hitting Fielding, according to police.

The vehicle was located Tuesday. Ogden police announced Thursday that criminal charges were pending against Samuel Enrique Hernandez, 23, of Ogden.
