(KSL News) A barbecue sparked a small fire at a Midvale home this afternoon.
Fire investigators say the grill was up against the house located at 7900 S. Coolidge St. when suddenly the fire grew out of control. When it spread to the attic, the family called 911.
Crews arrived a short time later and were able to put it out. The fire was contained to just the attic, but officials say there is some water damage to the basement as well.
No one was hurt.
