(KSL News) Officials confirm at least one fire is burning in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
The blaze is burning in a remote area, at high elevation, accessible only by helicopter. No other information was immediately available.
KSL Meteorologist Dan Pope says there were numerous lightning strikes in the area earlier this evening.
