OGDEN — A man wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery and narcotics violations was arrested Friday after barricading himself inside a home, police said.
Ogden-Metro gang detectives found and isolated parole fugitive Joseph Hoskins, 34, who was on parole and absconded from supervision, Ogden Police said.
Hoskins barricaded himself in a home near 2100 Reeves Avenue. Officials believed he was armed and dangerous, and the Ogden-Metro SWAT team responded to assist, police said.
Officials arrested Hoskins and booked him into the Weber County Jail on suspicion of multiple criminal charges, police said.
Hoskins has previously been convicted of forgery, robbery and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person.
