(KSL News) Three West Valley City police officers who shot and killed a robbery suspect acted in accordance with the law.
The District Attorney's Office said evidence showed the officers shot and killed Thanh Tran after Tran fired at them July 1.
Officials say Tran robbed a jewelry store at gunpoint and then took the owner hostage when officers arrived. She was able to escape, and that's when Tran turned on the officers and fired a shot. They returned fire, killing Tran.
