A man has been arrested for what he allegedly did with his cell phone at University Mall in Orem.
Orem police say witnesses saw a man kneel behind a young woman who had her back to him and apparently take pictures underneath her skirt with his cell phone. An employee at the mall says she saw him doing it and called police.
When officers spotted the man, they say he started pushing buttons on his phone, potentially to get rid of the pictures. So police confiscated the phone and put him under arrest. They plan to use a warrant today to search what's on the phone.
The suspect is a 30-year-old man from Spanish Fork. He was booked into jail on suspicion of voyeurism. Orem police did not release his name.
