CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- Cedar City is considering building a new pool for city residents.
The city council is considering building a new aquatic center, gym and community center.
Council members are expected to decide next week how extensive of a project they want to put before voters in November.
If voters go along, property taxes will increase by $42 to $82 a year on a $250,000 home, depending on what kind of facility is built.
The city sold its current pool to Southern Utah University, which will allow residents to continue using the facility until 2010.
