COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — A Coeur d'Alene man died after having a heart attack while snowmobiling.

The Coeur d'Alene Press reports (http://bit.ly/1SmzFrz ) that the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office says 64-year-old Kelly Nelson started having heart attack-like symptoms while riding his snowmobile in a remote section of mountains near Grizzly Peak on Saturday.

Police say people riding with Nelson apparently took him down the mountain and called emergency services. A LifeFlight helicopter landed near Bumblebee Bridge and the crew travelled to Nelson on snowmobiles.

The sheriff's office says Nelson was given CPR almost immediately after the heart attack, but medical crews were unable to revive him.
