WEST VALLEY CITY — West Valley City police are looking for two men who robbed a Dollar Tree store at gunpoint Monday night.

An employee of the store, located at 4668 S. 4000 West, called 911 around 9:20 p.m. to report the store was being robbed, according to Julie Jorgensen of the West Valley City Police Department.

The store was closed and employees were in the manager's office counting money when two men with a shotgun broke through a window. The robbers broke another window into the manager's office and took the money at gunpoint. The employees received minor injuries from broken glass and were treated on scene, Jorgensen said.

The robbers, described as white males in their 20s, fled in an older model black SUV. They were last seen headed west on 4700 South.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 801-840-4000.
