MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Bernie Sanders extended an olive branch to Hillary Clinton during Saturday night's Democratic presidential debate in New Hampshire. Clinton accepted Sanders' apology, a day after their campaigns exchanged heated accusations over a breach of the Democratic Party's voter database.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — He wasn't on the debate stage, but Republican front-runner Donald Trump was one of Hillary Clinton's biggest adversaries of the night. Clinton said Trump was becoming the Islamic State group's "best recruiter" with his call to temporarily bar Muslims from entering the United States.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — One of the sharpest exchanges at the debate came when Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders discussed their drastically different approaches on foreign policy. Clinton, a former secretary of state, said America must remain an engaged global leader, while Sanders said the country should be wary of involvement in complex foreign conflicts.

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — An Air France flight from Mauritius to Paris was forced to land in the Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa after a device suspected of being a bomb was found in a lavatory. All passengers were safely evacuated from the Boeing 777 and the device was taken out for examination.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Aircraft debris was found scattered in a central California orchard hours after a small plane sent a mayday call and disappeared from radar. A search and rescue crew located the debris southwest of Bakersfield. Authorities have yet to say whether the debris was that of the missing plane. No word on any survivor.
