LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Mob Museum in Las Vegas has welcomed its millionth visitor. KSNV-TV reports that the museum celebrated the milestone yesterday by greeting visitor Billy Tveitnes with confetti and champagne as he walked in the door. Director Jonathan Ullman and museum founder Oscar Goodman also presented Tveitnes with the key to the museum.

RENO, Nev. (AP) — The University of Nevada, Reno is planning a $20 million fine arts building with a museum, recital hall, practice rooms and electroacoustic lab. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that officials say the new space fits the university's push to grow science, technology, engineering, arts and math programs and transform Reno into a college city.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Gov. Brian Sandoval has called lawmakers into a special legislative session tonight to approve tax breaks and incentives for electric carmaker Faraday Future. Sandoval wants the Legislature to approve a new category of tax abatements that would authorize $215 million in incentives for the Chinese-backed automaker.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada lawmakers are being asked to allocate $3.7 million toward testing more than 7,500 sexual assault evidence kits languishing in police vaults around the state. Some of the untested kits in Las Vegas date back 30 years. State Attorney General Adam Laxalt says he hopes the legislature's Interim Finance Committee today will approve funds from grants and settlements the state has received.
