Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was 3.50 cents higher at $4.94 a bushel; March corn was 3.25 cents higher at $3.7840 a bushel; March oats were 2.25 cents highere at $2.3460 a bushel; while March soybeans gained 3 cents at 8.7360 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork were lower the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was .50 cent lower at $1.2575 a pound; January feeder cattle was 0.58 cent lower at $1.5155 a pound; February lean hogs lost .29 cent to $.6035 a pound.
