ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Raiders have promoted defensive tackle Leon Orr from the practice squad to the active roster.
The Raiders placed rookie linebacker Neiron Ball on injured reserve with a knee injury Saturday to make room on the roster.
Orr was originally signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Florida in May and was signed to the practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the start of the season.
Orr will be eligible to play Sunday in Denver.
