MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) — Braylon Rayson scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, and freshman Corey Redman also made five 3s for 15 points to help Central Michigan cruise to a 90-51 win over NAIA Aquinas on Monday night.
Rayson made 7 of 11 field goal attempts and Redman was 5 of 8 as the Chippewas hit a season-high 15 of their 35 attempts from 3-point range.
Chris Fowler scored 14 and Rayshawn Simmons finished with 10 points, five rebounds and eight assists for Central Michigan (4-4).
The Chippewas made 33 of 63 (52.4 percent) field goals en route to their highest scoring output since a 105-77 win over Miami (Ohio) on Jan. 14, 2015.
Aquinas, which trailed 44-22 at halftime, shot just 31.8 percent (21 of 66) from the field.
Zac VanBeek led the Saints with 16 points while Jake Bullock scored 10.
