(KSL News) The state of Utah has received a large grant to help fight obesity.
The Utah Department of Health is still trying to determine how exactly to use the first of the five annual $455,000 grants.
But part of the conditions set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is the grant is used to combat obesity.
Utah is one of 23 states to win the grant this year.
The state has traditionally fallen low in obesity rate rankings and currently ranks 47th in the country.
