(KSL News) Utah Highway Patrol troopers arrested a suspected car thief following a short chase and crash overnight.
Troopers spotted a stolen red Corvette traveling southbound on I-15 at about 4500 South. The suspect refused to pull over, eventually exited the freeway, and then crashed at 7200 South.
The suspect ran but was found about half a mile away by a police dog. The suspect, whose identity has not been released, was hiding in the back of a pickup truck.
