Ogden couple dies in Montana motorcycle crash

OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- An Ogden couple with ties to Hill Air Force Base died in a motorcycle crash in Montana.

Linda and Vern Stanley were hit head-on by a pickup truck while they were riding their Honda Goldwing on Montana Highway 12 near the Idaho border.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the motorcycle crossed into oncoming traffic on Monday.

Vern Stanley, 46, was retired after a military career. Linda Stanley, 54, worked at Hill Air Force Base.
