(KSL News) Longtime activist for Utah's Latino community, John Renteria, has died.
Renteria died Sunday morning as he was getting ready to go to church. He was 56.
Renteria served for years as president of the Centro Civico Mexicano and was a strong advocate of improving Salt Lake's west side. He was known as a feisty leader who always spoke his mind.
