SALT LAKE CITY — Another week, another last-minute comeback for the BYU Cougars.

Trailing 24-21 with under a minute to play, BYU QB Tanner Mangum threw a 35-yard touchdown to Mitchell Juergens to vault the Cougars past Boise State.

Utah State played a hard fought game against in-state rival Utah, but were outlasted by Utah's tough defense that held the Aggies scoreless in the second half.

Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines got the better of Gary Andersen and the Oregon State Beavers, while the Tennesee-Oklahoma and the Michigan State-Oregon games went right down to the wire.

With the games in the books, how did we do?

KSL.com user C. Warner (BYU fan base) ended up with 261 points out of a possible 300. Warner picked the Michigan State vs. Oregon score spot on while also predicting the Utah vs. Utah State score within one point. By finishing with the most points in week 2, Warner will receive a $30 Wells Fargo VISA gift card.

The consensus picks were 4-1, same as last week (prediction, actual): Utah vs. Utah State (32-15, 24-14); BYU vs. Boise State (25-24; 35-24); Michigan vs. Oregon State (23-19, 35-7); Tennessee vs. Oklahoma (22-28, 24-31); and Michigan State vs. Oregon (28-31, 31-28).

BYU fans were again the most accurate in week 2, scoring an average of 34.9 points per game, up from 28 last week. Utah was second with 30 points per game and Utah State last with 25.5. Percentages also follow the same pattern, with BYU picking 76% of games correctly, Utah 64% and Utah State 55%.

For those following the KSL Sports group, Rod Zundel had a great week with 247 points, good enough for 37th best overall for the week. Josh Furlong was a close second with 239 points. Furlong continues to lead the overall rankings, and himself along with Zundel and Jeremiah Jensen are starting to separate themselves from the rest of the pack.

This week's slate of games includes No. 13 LSU vs. No. 18 Auburn, No. 8 Notre Dame vs. No. 14 Georgia Tech, Washington vs. Utah State, No. 10 UCLA vs. No. 19 BYU and Fresno State vs. No. 21 Utah.

If you haven't signed up yet, don't worry — each weekly prize ($30 Wells Fargo VISA gift card) will be awarded to the highest point total for that week, so you have the same odds to win as those who participated in weeks 1 and 2.
