ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Tampa Bay Rays right fielder Steven Souza Jr. is back in the starting lineup after going on the disabled list in early August with a broken left hand.

Souza was listed as the sixth-place hitter in the Rays' lineup for Friday night's game against Boston.

Souza was hitting .214 with 15 homers and 34 RBIs in 89 games before the injury, which happened when he was hit by a pitched ball on Aug. 1.
