CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 4 cents to $4.74 a bushel; December corn was 4 cents lower at $3.7020 a bushel; December oats were .25 cent lower at 2.3160 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 5.50 cents to 8.6820 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle was 1.08 cents lower at $1.4363 a pound; October feeder cattle was 1.50 cents lower at $1.970 a pound; December lean hogs lost .78 cent to $.6278 a pound.
