SALT LAKE CITY — Welcome to today's From Left Field! As always, here are some of the most shareable and fun items from the world of sports.

1. This bunny has hops

This incredible rabbit ran onto the field during a contest between the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos and Calgary Stampeders. As you'd expect, the rabbit just ran around the field for a while.

Until it reached the goal line.

That's when it took off with a spectacular, dizzying leap of a distance and height many times its own body size, ensuring he scored a touchdown for his bunny brethren.

Game: animal kingdom.

2. What a play!

This is one of the most incredible high school football plays you'll ever see. As their opponent is trying to kick a field goal, IMG Academy's Drake Davis leaps over both the defensive and offensive line, blocks the kick, then returns it all the way to the other end for two points for his team. Just watch:

Davis is a wide receiver recruit with a 4-star rating, and we have to say: he deserves it.

3. Actually burying the tape

It's one of sports' most time-tested clichs: burying the tape of a bad performance. The idea is, why watch a game in which everyone knows what went wrong? Doing so will just destroy morale. Instead, just move on to the next game.

Except that Penn State took that advice literally.

According to the Centre Daily Times, the team's quarterback and safety actually went out to the practice field, got a shovel and literally buried the DVD copies of the tape.

Penn State takes its clichés seriously.
