(KSL News) West Jordan police are investigating a random shooting at a mobile home park.

A man was returning home from work early this morning, driving through an area along 8400 South and 4000 West, when another man standing outside opened fire.

"I stopped and I yelled out, 'What are you doing?' Then he shot a couple of more times. Then it broke my back windshield. Then I knew it was a gun. Then I put my head down and pushed on the gas," Chris Morrison explained. "I'm just glad I'm not dead, ‘cause I should be dead."

Officers searched for the shooter, who they think lives in the mobile home park, but never found him.

A couple of neighboring trailers were also hit.
