DRAPER — Two ambulance paramedics and a psychiatric patient were hospitalized early Friday after the patient allegedly caused the vehicle to roll on I-15.
The man who was being transported caused the driver of the ambulance to lose control on northbound I-15 near 12000 South in Draper around 2:30 a.m., said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Roden.
The patient and both paramedics, a man and a woman, were transported to a nearby hospital. They were in fair condition Friday.
Roden said he hasn't received details on what enabled the patient to cause the ambulance to roll. It wasn't known Friday whether charges may be filed against the man.
No other vehicles were affected in the crash, Roden said.
