(KSL News) For over 900 junior high school students, today was filled with engineering marvels: robotics, animation and even a little a magic.
The University of Utah's College of Engineering treated young, inquiring minds with "Engineering Day," a celebration of the fun side of engineering.
Students raced robots through little mazes, launched water balloons at toy cougars -- which happen to be the mascot of a well-known rival -- and lifted objects into the air through the power of chemicals.
When they had a little spare time, the students watched movies created by video gamers.
